The administrator of the information-telecommunication system of the Central Certification Authority took part in the EC-3rd countries trust services Forum
The administrator of the information-telecommunication system of the Central Certification Authority took part in the EU-3rd countries trust services Forum, which took place in Brussels, which was organized by the European Commission (hereinafter - the Forum).
At the Forum, ways of further development of new trust services that will be included in the new version of eIDAS were specified, and elements of the Program of the European Commission on the Third Countries Trusted List (hereinafter - the Program) related to the provisions on eIDAS in terms of the recognition of electronic signatures of third countries as advanced signatures were discussed.
Technical elements of the Program were also separately demonstrated, in particular, the MRAelement - a software module (mutual recognition agreement element), which makes it possible to compare the compliance of the national structure of trust services of third countries with EU requirements for these services. As part of the assessment of real experience in the implementation of the Program, a technical evaluation of the results of electronic signatures of third countries validation was carried out using the tool for signatures validation on the website of the European Commission.
In particular, the results of the electronic signature of Ukraine validation, the Trusted List of which was the first of the third European Union countries was included in the Third Countries Trusted List (TCTL), were demonstrated. The experience of Ukraine was shared as an example for other countries that aim to take steps towards cross-border interoperability of electronic signatures between their countries and the EU.
The Forum noted the successes of Ukraine in the integration of the Ukrainian Trusted List into the TCTL and the progress of Ukraine on the path to integration into the single European space in the field of electronic trust services, as well as the future steps that must be taken for mutual recognition of electronic trust services between Ukraine and the European Union.
